2020 Games Cancelled due to the Covid 19 Pandemic
Celebrating Scottish and Celtic culture, The Loch Lomond Highland Games is a traditional Scottish event located in Balloch right on our doorstep! A mixture of Scottish sport, music and entertainment awaits you – from Tug o’ war, piping and Highland country dancing contests, caber tossing, wood chopping, track events, wrestling and many more activities. Expect to hear bagpipe music all around and participants wearing our traditional Scottish kilt.
Outside the main enclosure, spectators can browse through various trade stands offering an array of contemporary and traditional wares, food and drink (don’t forget the whisky!). The occasion will draw to a close with a stirring mass Pipe band march through the main street in Balloch, bringing a stunning conclusion to what promises to be a memorable day.
We are located only a 15 minute walk to the Loch Lomond Highland Games and just 5 minutes drive by car. You could also reach the venue in just 7 minutes by the cycling route.
